Prolonged exposure to moisture can weaken the resin’s structure, cause it to become dull or soft, and, most importantly, irreversibly damage the paint used to color the interior of Cruxed tunnels.
- Sensitive to heat – UV resin may soften or warp when exposed to high temperatures, such as in a sauna or prolonged direct sunlight. We advise against exposing UV resin jewelry to temperatures exceeding 50°C (122°F).

Are UV resin tunnels and plugs safe to wear? Yes! But to ensure safety, keep these important guidelines in mind:
- If you want to wear them daily, it’s best to remove them at night for skin comfort.
- Do not wear 3D-printed jewelry in freshly stretched earlobes – only use it in fully healed piercings. Freshly stretched ears are very sensitive, and during the healing period, materials like 316L steel, which our 2-in-1 tapers are made of, are the best option.
